A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words!

Every once in a while I get to do something amazing - I make people happy. I love printing photos and I love the reaction when people see their cherished memories blown up large and restored in full splendour.

A picture is worth a thousand words because you can’t always say what you feel when you see a photo of a loved one or express all the memories and emotions that they can bring.
To most people this is just an old photo from the past. However, more importantly, it’s also a precious memory of a young man in Malta during the war. This means so much more to him now as he has just celebrated his 96th birthday and can reminisce about the time he spent there.

The canvas is a permanent record for his family of the things that he has achieved throughout his life. This heirloom will be passed down through the ages and he will always be remembered by future generations to come.

Pictures often have more significance and meaning than they first appear to have. This is a loving picture of a mother and daughter holding hands. On face value it’s a lovely canvas, with strong family bonds, but what if I told you that one of the people was no longer here. Now it represents so much more - now it’s a permanent connection of a shared fond memory of a family together forever.
It’s not just people that hold value in our lives - this is the last dog photo of a treasured family pet, sadly no longer here. Unfortunately, the man on the left is in the way of the photo. Only after the dog passing on did they realise the significance of the photo and asked for the man to be removed - it is the last photo of the dog still alive. Whilst this can be tricky to achieve it is possible and clearly this is a better focal point for their memory of the dog.

Whilst it is easy to have your photos on your mobile phone, there is no comparison to having them printed as a canvas and what it means to the people who receive the canvas prints - it’s priceless.
